Camp Nicolet is amazing. As a camper going back for her fifth summer, I can say that this camp has helped me grow as a person and taught me so much. I felt comfortable from the moment I stepped into the Northwoods and fell in love with Nicolet immediately. It’s honestly the best camp, where no one is ever alone because we are all friends and family. The bonds you form are so close and the friendships last forever. I’m a Nicolet Lady forever :)

Some of my fondest childhood memories are from Camp Nicolet. I went to a few other camps before Nicolet and they couldn’t even compare! The friendships I made there are still strong 20 years later. If I had a daughter she would be spending her summers there!

  3. Camp Nicolet will occupy a special place in my heart for the rest of my life. As a young girl, I was able to not only learn all of the skills and sports/activities associated with the camp, but I was also able to learn confidence and happiness–not a given for adolescent girls.

Camp Nicolet is meticulously organized and professional. I recommend it for your daughters with a ***** rating!

  4. Loren Brooks says:

Had a fantastic 3 years of teaching horse riding here. I think I had just as much fun as the kids!
It was a wonderful experience and I made so many great friends of which I am still in contact today.

Making the long journey from Germany to Camp Nicolet as a young woman was definitely one of the best things I ever did. I’ve got so many great memories of the time I spent there that sometimes I am surprised I only was there for two summers! It is a wonderful place to be: most beautiful landscape, really well trained, highly motivated and caring staff, very safe place, great program that teaches you incredibly much without one noticing it when it happens. It was such a good experience that sometimes I am incredibly sad when I think back to those times and realize that I am now too old to be a camper at Nicolet again…

I got Nicolet sand in my shoes 50 years ago, and it’s still there. Nicolet is a special place that stays in your heart forever. It is wonderful to see the founders’ daughter and grandson continuing the excellent traditions of Camp Nicolet.

I spent ten summers at Nicolet and my mom was there for 11. It is a place where campers can learn, grow, make lifelong friends and be safe all at the same time. There is no place like it–a beautiful summer escape.
